Weekly Sharebuilder Purchases

Here are my purchases for this week.

  • WM:  9.81 shares @ $40.69 --- Yield  3.68%  (Initial position)
  • BAX:  5.91 shares @ $67.73 --- Yield  2.90%  (Initial position)
  • ESV:  7.86 shares @ $50.77 --- Yield  5.91%
  • PFE:  12.57 shares @ $31.76 --- Yield 3.27%
Total capital invested is $1600.00 ($400 in each company). The combined yield of these purchases is 3.94% and will add $63.04 to my yearly dividends.

I plan on adding more shares of  Pfizer until I reach a full position.  Baxter should be a good complement with solid dividend growth.  Waste Management is a wonderful company with consistent, albeit slow dividend growth.  I can only assume with continued population growth and a greater focus on recycling this should be a solid company for many years.  ESV is speculative with a high entry yield.  Future dividend growth is uncertain, but should be a solid income producer.

Here are my purchases for this week.

  • KMI:  12.61 shares @ $31.72 --- Yield  5.17%
  • PFE:  12.54 shares @ $31.92 --- Yield  3.26%
  • BBL:  6.63 shares @ $60.33 --- Yield  3.92%
  • ESV:  8.21 shares @ $48.74 --- Yield  6.16%  (Initial position)

The DJIA has been up about 300 points in the last two days.  It is very difficult to find value, but REITs, tobacco, and many energy companies appear to be reasonably priced.

Weekly Sharebuilder Purchases

Here are my first purchases for March:

  • KMI:  12.53 shares @ $31.92 --- Yield  5.14%
  • GE:  13.62 shares @ $25.70 --- Yield  3.42%
  • PEP:  3.74 shares @ $80.17 --- Yield  3.27%
  • T:  9.36 shares @ $32.06 --- Yield  5.74%
Total new capital invested is $1350 ($400 KMI, $350 GE, $300 PEP and T).  The combined yield is 4.41% and these purchases will add $59.50 to my annual dividends.

Unfortunately my purchases went through on a big up day in the market.  This is the first time I have added KMI since last September.  There is a some risk with both KMI and T, but hopefully these will prove to be values like TGT in December and January.  This is my third addition to PEP in the last month.
