December 2017 Net Worth

All figures are generated from Mint.com. Despite having the lowest income total from my day in six years, I still saw a $17,000 increase in my net worth. Most of the gains came from my 401K and house.

I know eventually the market will drop and these monthly gains will go away, until then it's nice seeing the upward trajectory!

  1. Got to love seeing that $1M in your sights especially since there's no liabilities on that balance sheet.

    1. PIP,

Good feeling indeed. Not only liability free, but fairly risk free assets as well.

    1. Troy,

Yeah the strong surge in the S&P has really helped my 401k shoot up this year.

    1. Captain,

Yeah there is really no logical reason for the hold up in value. Almost all cars depreciate over time, but Jeeps seem to depreciate quite a bit less than average.

Can't wait to get there. Doubt I'll feel any different other than knowing I have a little more freedom over my life.

  9. Oh, bro!! You have my dream car, Jeep Wrangler!!! This is so awesome!!

I've been telling myself, once Mr.W and I are fully retired and get by with 1 car, the 1 car will need to be a Jeep Wrangler. The rest of the time, we'll bike. LOL :)

    1. Vivianne,

It is so impractical, but is by far my favorite vehicle to own so far and I've had numerous trucks, Transams, Mustangs, etc. Love it to death!!
