  • CSCO --- $48.13
  • TIS --- $47.54

  • VIAB --- $16.18
  • NKE --- $7.20

Total income received in my taxable account is $627.24.

The second quarter of 2017 started out with a a bang thanks to BP depositing its dividend in April. Last April I earned a grand total of ZERO, so I am very pleased at this year's results.

I also contributed a shit load of capital throughout this month and my forward dividends are sitting at $9,000.  This puts me close to where I was at the same time in 2014. I went on a serious tear for the remainder of that year and finished with $15,000 in forward dividends. I don't see that happening again this year, but you never know.

  1. MDP -

Over $600 in an "off-month" is hilarious. Keep blazing and that's some serious reinvestment.

    2. Just wondering if you have posted about any other passive income you might have coming in (in addition to dividends)? Kind of new to your blog, which by the way is very impressive. I'm trying to kickstart my own dividend income machine after liquidating it last year to pay for grad school without having to take out too much money in loans. Thanks, Brian @ Dividism

    3. Dividism,

I have passive income from Lending Club (about $50 a month) and also from this blog about $35 a month. While I don't post about it, I also have a 401k that pays dividends/interest and you can see those amount in the Dividend Spreadsheet tab above.

  5. Do you reinvest or take as cash?

    1. Mat,

I reinvest everything except the SHell B shares. They pay in Shell A shares and it's a pain to receive dividends in another company.
