Recent Buy --- WFC


Today I added to my Wells Fargo position.
  • WFC:  35 shares @ $45.31 --- Yield  3.35%

Total capital invested is $1592.77 and will add $53.20 to my yearly dividends. I was really happy to see the share price fall again today since I didn't add any shares a couple of days ago. In the long run this bank will be fine and I am happy to get in at such a great yield. My WFC share count is now 171.01.

Adding shares of great companies the past few weeks has felt really good and I love seeing the forward dividends climbing!! $4k is within striking distance. I'm feeling pretty pumped up right now!!!

Forward dividends are $3900.

    Helluva price! Nice work, and you're set to pick up over an extra share a year with that purchase. Killing it with over 171 shares - DAYUM! Keep knocking it out.

      I agree completely. The pain may not be over yet, but I think it will pass much like the JPM "whale" a few years back.

    I think you nailed it.

    There are some valid moral concerns about the business right now, but when you are dealing with massive enterprises, you have to recognize that there are some sinners amongst the saints.

    Wells Fargo has an obscene 13% annual compounding rate since 1972. Wow.

      I had no idea about that compounding rate! That's amazing and obviously took a lot of acquisitions and stellar business decisions! I hope that trend continues.

    I think this is a great buy. I was looking at WFC when it was $48. I would have picked some up had i seen the price drop but I've been working like a dog for the past two weeks and haven't had a chance to look at the market.

      I have been watching WFC as well. Even though it's a rather large position for now, I felt compelled to add to it. Keep working hard so you can keep building that dividend income! Stay in BEAST MODE!!
