Today I added to my HCP position

  • HCP:  100 shares @ $28.95 --- Yield  5.11%

Total capital invested is $2901.45 and will add $148.to my yearly dividends. This brings my share count to just over 309 shares.

I am also watching O and OHI on the REIT front. Other stocks I continue to watch include NKE, CSCO, PG, GIS, GE, and JNJ.

    1. AG,

I'm thinking $60 and $80. I don't know if that will happen or not, but I'll be watching!

  2. MDP -

Getting dizzy over here; on a straight rampage. Nice pick up, REITs taking a bit of a hit lately with the rate announcement.

    1. Lanny,

The rampage is just beginning. Hopefully there will be the normal Jan-Feb pullback. Then it's a race to $10k!!

    1. MU,

Glad to hear it! I'm watching OHI pretty closely right now as well. I've done pretty good sticking with lower yield companies with low payouts, but REITs do appear fairly attractive right now.

  5. Awesome job once again MDP! $6k is now scared of your Beast Mode as $10k knows he is the real target!

Merry Christmas, you are an inspiration!

  6. HCP and CCP were recent pick ups for me. Hard to ignore some of the health REITs selling at much better prices these days when compared to their summertime prices.

    1. DivHut,

I saw that. HCP has had a strange year (price performance and lowered divvy), but I'm looking for good things in the future.
