Recent Buy -- SO


Today I initiated a position in SO.


  • SO:  100 shares @ $44.11 --- Yield 5.26%

Total capital invested is $4417.69 and will add $232.00 to my yearly dividends.

Forward dividends are $1367.

    WOW! SO is still trading in 40s. Not much of price appreciation, but definitely a good dividend player.

    Nice buy. Good yield low forward P/E. Utilities are quite cheap these days :) SO is not that high laveraged 6x Debt/EBIDA ok for utility. D and DUK has more debts if compared ~8 D/E now thats a bit high.

    I picked up a few SO shares yesterday as well to add to my existing position. Glad to see you back in action. I hope we continue to see a pullback in prices like we have the last couple of days. Market is a little to rich for my liking. There are of course a few decent valuations here and there like SO.
