Income from August was virtually identical to May which means I didn't add to these positions and fortunately none cut their dividends.

I have started to notice the bond component in my retirement accounts has fallen a bit this year. Again not unexpected as interests rates have been lowered and remain close to zero.

All in all it was a solid uneventful month so I'll take it.

Good solid month with a few new payers (BUD & SPG). M no longer pays a dividend and is falling like a rock. I've also been adding MO pretty consistently this year and now am receiving over $300. PM is also a big payer at close to $100. 

I'm going to continue adding more stock and hopefully do a better job of reporting the buys. I've been pretty lax in doing that. As CD's continue to expire at the end of this year, I'll likely add more to positions like XOM, JNJ, T, & MO in order to maintain income levels.

I love seeing the portfolio producing income across different investment classes and industries. Wells Fargo in the coming months will be paying out less as it has become the latest company to cut its dividend. No problem though as the overall portfolio keeps moving up through increases, drips, and new investments.

It looks like 2020 should exceed 2019 in the passive income department and hopefully I can continue building it. It would be nice to have a higher net worth as well. I am starting to feel confident in this actually happening.

The income keeps plugging along as the markets and economy gain more traction. I am well on my way to eclipsing last year's passive income totals even with some pretty serious dividend cuts. Hopefully some of the reduced dividends will be restored later this year and early next year.

Next year will be another interest rate reset on some of my CD's so I'll continue moving funds into dividend stocks. Stocks like PFE and SO are becoming more attractive and are currently yielding around 5%. KO nearing 4% is always a good play as well. Hope to add some of all in the near future.

There are a couple of anomalies to report this month. First I received a government direct deposit as a result of the pandemic. I certainly don't need it and will gladly return it back to some local citizens via various charity donations.

I also received more interest income from Amegy this month because a CD I renewed in December was accruing interest rather than depositing it into my checking account. I finally had this corrected and received several months interest in April. The interest payment should be around $30 a month going forward.

I'm looking forward to the back half of this year as I have put a lot of capital to work recently.

Another month in the books. Not the most impressive income report, but this reflects the lower interest payments on my CDs as well as last year's portfolio sell off as I closed all positions in my E-trade account.

The good news is I have been replacing the sold stocks by investing in my JPM account and I feel as though the income streams should be back to normal in the next couple of months.

My goal is to still have the same passive income this year (maybe more) as last year even though interest income my fall by $2,000 or so this year.

CD income continues to drop as interest rates have fallen in the past year as well as reducing my CD portfolio by $50k. My dividend income also was a bit lower as I haven't completely reinvested all of the proceeds of my CD money.

I still plan on at the very least maintaining the same passive income level this year as I had last year. I may increase it a tad, but it would not be too big of an increase.

Well that's a wrap for 2019. Exceptional year on all fronts and I am more than pleased with my monthly passive income for December as well as the year.

December was a big month for my mutual fund ABALX and the $869.21 does NOT include the end of year capital gain distribution. It is strictly the income amount. My CD income dropped and will continue to drop again this month as I have reduced the balances and the rates have reset lower.

Considering I only received $56 from individual stocks I feel good about clearing $3,000 across all accounts.

I have been added shares back and consolidating to my JPM account and hope to create the same yearly income for 2020 as I did in 2019. I have work to do.

Another solid income month. I closed out my E-trade account and sold off my positions and am adding new positions in my Chase account. I've been wanting to keep all my accounts under one roof for a while and Chase finally offers low fees on stock purchases with their You-Invest-Trade accounts. Right now I get 100 free trades!

Also 2019 is my first year with ZERO W-2 Income so I can sell off some positions without tax consequences. I love the rates on long term gains and qualified dividends in retirement :)

My CD income jumped up quite a bit as I invested the proceeds from my home sale into a 2.5% 2 year Amegy CD in the beginning of June. Considering both the 2 YR and 10 YR bonds are hovering around 1.5% after massive drops during the past couple of months, I feel I caught lightning a bottle with that rate.

Other than buying a few shares here and there this month, everything is nice and calm and I just continue to sit back and live off the passive income streams.
