Today I added to a couple of existing positions.
- MO: 30 shares @ $35.14 --- Yield 9.56%
- T: 35 shares @ $28.65 --- Yield 7.26%
Total capital invested is $2057.05 and the combined yield is 8.44%. These purchases will add $173.60 to my yearly dividends.
I almost added KO to the portfolio. It's trading in the $38 range. I'll probably add some shares next week but would like to see $35.
Have a great weekend everyone!
Nice job Big Guy! Love to see you keeping the fire burning. I am buying here too. Five years from now, you will be thanking your past self! :)

Nice purchases! That yield on T is incredible! I'm still dollar cost averaging in. We (people who are able to keep investing) are in a nice situation. I'm quite lucky to be early in my career and able to weather these market downturns.

Scott,
DeleteI'm on the other side of the spectrum having retired 25 months ago. Fortunately I have kept a huge cash position for emergencies and opportunities. Hopefully the Coronavirus resolves itself quickly as health is far more important than investment bargains. With that said, we have to operate in the environment before us. T looks good and could ultimately fall much lower depending on what develops in the coming months.
Be safe and best wishes with your investing :)

ReplyDeleteI agree with you on the KO - see if there's another 10% pullback, there should be.
Congrats on the purchases, two stocks that usually break through times like these.

Lanny,
DeletePicked up just a few shares under $37. Big spike up in the market yesterday, but still looking for more income.
