Here are my sharebuilder purchases.
- PEP: 8.33 shares @ $78.01 --- Yield 3.36%
- T: 12.20 shares @ $32.79 --- Yield 5.61%
Total capital invested is $1050 ($650 PEP and $400 T) and the combined yield is 4.26%. These purchases will raise my annual dividends by $44.73.
AT&T is my largest holding at 307.2 shares. I was hoping to get closer to a 6% yield. I still may get the opportunity. All the telecoms are getting beaten up this year.
Pepsi is the newest addition to my portfolio. Between the recent dividend increase and Friday's drop, I couldn't resist initiating a position.
Pipeline,
ReplyDeleteLike the buys! I think both are pretty attractive here.
PEP had a solid quarter and a big increase. I'm really thinking of increasing my position, but I'm also looking at KO, UL, and GIS in this space.
T is solid near the 6% yield. That's where I made my purchase and would probably be inclined to buy again if it gets near there. Although, my telecom holdings are already fairly large as I have a big position in VOD (and soon to be VZ).
Best wishes!
DM,
DeleteI agree with you on KO. I bought some shares last year around $39 and would like to add more. Hopefully they will stay in the $37 range. A dividend increase should be coming soon as well.
Thanks for stopping by!
Great purchases! I own PEP but no T yet. I've been looking at T and considering it for next month. With tax season approaching though I might have to suck it up and pay the taxes instead.
ReplyDeleteThose pesky taxes:)
Dexter,
DeleteI'm with you on taxes. They suck! That's the good thing about dividends (lower rates). I really like T and wanted to get closer to the 6% level but it keeps bouncing off of $31. KO also looks good here especially if they come out with a nice raise.
Thanks for the comment.
